True, but not Waddles fault, and doesn't change the fact that we don't have Chase and need to have a capable replacement plan if we would jettison Waddle. If only we had an operational time machine! It truly would be interesting to see career trajectories if players were drafted by different teams.
 
I cant really believe that a fan wants to move on from a WR who has had 3 of 4 seasons over 1000 yards receiving, and is 90 yards off another 1000 yard season. I just don't get it.

Unless a guy puts on HoF performances on a regular basis there will always be a section of the fan base that wants to "move on from them".
 
I would have traded him for a 1 but it's not a slight against Waddle as he does perform and performs well. We need another strong #1, preferably a taller, big target to compliment Waddle. Having two studs would be so nice and of course a TE who balls out is critical

He's only got $16m guaranteed for 2026 with $0 guaranteed beyond that. We're really only on the hook for his bonuses. He's middle of the road salary wise for the position. The contract is workable on both a restructure or trade scenario.
