I'm Really Starting to Hate Brett Favre

Being a Dolphins fan and a huge Dan Marino apologist, I never really liked Brett Favre because of the few charlatans who would say that Favre is a better quarterback. But now with Favre on the Jets and the absurd media favoritism that goes along with "JET FAVRE" and his seeming infallibility, I'm totally starting to hate the guy.
Any time you flip on a Jets game this year you won't hear an objective play by play, and you won't get comprehensive game coverage. What you will be forced to listen to is 3 hours of moronic commentary about "THE RIVERBOAT GAMBLER" and how incomparably amazing Brett Favre is as a quarterback and a human being. It's really quite infuriating, and I'm sick and tired of it.
Favre is not nearly as good as he used to be, he constantly puts his team in terrible positions with his God awful interceptions, and there is absolutely no need for this constant lionizing by the media at large.
To make things worse, Pennington is having a better year than Favre is, and he's doing it with an inferior receiver corps. But how much credit does Pennington get in comparison to Favre?
The Favre dick riding needs to stop.
 
Why hate on a guy that brought us our best qb since Marino? think of it like this, Thanks the jets for getting #4 and thank them for letting #10 go. look at us now !
with Henne waiting in the wings....my friend, the hate is just not worth it.
 
Don't give it a thought. Miami is going to finish ahead of the Jets. That will speak for itself.
 
Starting to hate Favre? Ive been there long ago. I hate Favre more than you can imagine. He has been complete crap this year. If you take away that Arizona game, hes done practically nothing and yet the stupid Jets and fans make it seem like hes so great.

As far as the Favre dick riding, I completely agree. Its completely embarrassing and just makes whoever does it look pathetic.

You just started disliking the guy???

It only took him going to Jets for me being justified in having absolutely no love for the feller.

I couldn't agree with you more. I despise Brett Favre with every bone in my body. But I thoroughly enjoy watching another Pick 6 thanks to him. The media should be embarrassed the way they pander to this guy. Especially dudes like John Madden and Peter King. They make me sick.
 
Well Favre is the reason you have Penny... The dolphins got a decent qb out of the deal, and the jets got wins instead of good stats with mediocre outcomes. Win win, I think

There is no comparison between Favre and Penny.Absolutely none!!Favre is playing with a hurt shoulder right now and he still throws in places Penny can only dream about.His INT's are a direct result of his arm injury in most cases.His numbers were stellar before he was hurt,like 12-4 TD's to INT's.
 
Where is this favortism? I know we finally got alot of good press after the trade and early in the year but he has been bashed for his poor play the last month or so and only some Jet and Packer fans are making excuses for his poor play. If not for Favre you guys would probably have about 2 wins now thanks to not getting Chad so appreciate that.
 
I got nothing but respect for Farve. He is old school to the tee. Of course I hope he plays awful due to the fact he is a Jet but I respect him.
 
Even with the talking to the lions coaches issue what a cover up.can you imagine if it was chad pennington talking about the jets ....it would have been a field day.
