im very pro beck and realize that he will no longer be with the dolphins at the end of the week. i think we are on the verge of trading him as i write this. im sad because, i believe that we are making a huge mistake by getting rid of him. this will haunt us
 
we're not moving Beck. If anything signing Chad did two things. 1) it puts McCown in hot water. 2) It almost guarantees Henne will not play until he is ready.

Hey. I give you props for accepting it. Some...no wait...MOST Beck lovers around here cant bring themselves to do it. But, hey, the guy the worship...Beck...is gutless in the pocket himself so what the hey.

If John Beck does not play against the Bucs he is a goner.

It's either McCown gone or Beck. McCown signed a 2-year 6.5 million contract, with $2.5 million signing bonus. Our dead-cap for McCown seems low... seems like we can cut him.

McCown is a fine option as a backup... but he's not the future. Beck might be, though....

McCown hasn't seperated much from Beck and Henne... I think his days are done in Miami.

Might as well let the competition play out though... Somebody could get injured in the preseason... it would stink if we cut McCown and then Henne got injured and we had to go out and sign another new qb.
 
look wv.. just because he will be cut/ traded soon doesnt mean that we are making the right choice.. he will be an awesome quarterback in this league.. mark my words
 
signing pennington basically says we wasted freakin 6 mil on mcCown ... wow this is whack
 
i think we will release mccown...i dont think they have fully given up on beck yet
