Im sick of excuses

Hearing Saban say he cant blame it all on Gus, is a huge understatement that scares me. How blind does he have to be that this team cant win with Gus in there. How many games does this guy have to lose for him to give Sage or whoever it is a chance to play! Hearing him say its everyones fault, not gus s makes me sick. Yes our D didnt play well, but when was the last time you heard of a D on the field for 42 minutes, I have never. When are we gonna realize that every play counts, every overthrow is a chance to gain some rythem, pick up a first down, keep the ball longer and get our Recievers in the game. The three and outs are what kill us. How can you put a game like this on your D when your Offense had the ball 18 minutes, our team was humiliated this week BAD! and I think its all gus fault. Like I said he makes his throws and many good things will start to happen, not to mention scoring some points that is somehting gus just cant do, even if he is on the 5 yard line and has to make the easiest of passes. He is not a winner period. I dont know if Saban believes in signs, but If I put my second string QB after my number one cant get **** done, and he comes on and throws a 77 TD pass to chambers that gus coudltn find all day, I would indeed talek it as a sign, a screaming sign. I kinda get the feeling that he deosnt wanna hurt gus s feelings. But this is football, this coach needs to do what he has to do for us to win. The way I see it gus had his chance, even though he was outplayed by sage in the preseason we gave him 6 games his record 2 and 4 that is not good enough unless we are aiming for a 6 and 10 season which hopefully Saban isnt. I really hope he doesnt throw in the towel. At least the teams in our division are not allowing him to do that just yet, cause of how even everyones record is. Hopefully that will give Saban some more hope for this year. The sumarize we cant win with Gus in there. He is not now and will never be a leader or a winner. So that means he doesnt belong here in Miami.
Bench gus put in Sage and you will see the huge difference a good QB can make.
 
Man why next year am I the only one that thinks that with some completions that will lead to hanging on to the ball more, we should be just fine this year!

I think we'd be better, I'm not sure we'd be a SB team though.
 
I think we can win some games this year, I think we definetly have a chance to make the playoffs

Just remember it was worse last year without Gus, not that I think he is the answer. So Saban is right , you can't put ALL the blame on him.
 
Im not saying its only gus s fault Im saying, if he would play better, then the chances of everybody else ****ing up are less, I think another huge probelm is Howard, I thikn if we bench Gus and Howard we have a much better chance to win this year.

It isnt all Gus's fault. Same as it wasnt all Feidlers fault. It just comes down to Gus not being able to make enough plays to get everything else going. You dont need a great qb if all he has to do is not turn the ball over when all parts are succeeding, such as rb avg 4+ ypc and defense playing shut down D. Where Gus is weak is when we are not running well, except for a big run here or there but nothing consistent and the defense is fighting but giving up yards and points, Gus cannot make teh plays necessary to pick the team up.

Maybe Sage cant either, but until he plays, it is all conjecture.
 
what bothers me when the fins lose the qb gets all the blame. I will be the first to tell you Gus sucks i knew that 7 years ago. Fans want to bench Gus and put Sage in like he is going to be a savior. We act like we know what best and we dont. There is a reason Sage has been 3rd and 2nd stringer for the fins HE SUCKS MORE THAN GUS and FIEDLER. Why start him. If we bench gus because it is his fault. Then we will have to bench part of the defense part of the oline o hell bench Chambers Booker they have dropped pretty good passes. Dang bench the whole dang 1st string team because none of them are playing like they want it.
 
theyve dropped some pretty good passes, most of them are missils, horrible passes.
Bottomline is an Offense needs confidence and if the QB is constantly overthrowing targets our offense wil never believe in what they are doing!

How do you know? You coached the fins? He hasnt played. Mostly because the coaches dont know what Sage can do yet. Wanny was fighting for his job, he wasnt going with a totally inexperienced qb, there are big growing pains. Saban wanted a veteran because he knew they were rebuilding, but wants to compete at teh same time, so he feels more comfortable witha vet that knows teh system. At this point, we are not competing very well so we have nothing to lose by seeing what the younger guy can do.
 
I dont think saying he has always been 2nd stringer

is a reason to not give Sage a chance there are many second stringers who got a chance and play very well now. I think no one can be worse than Gus right now. And I dont think we are a bad team, I just think we need to get some completions in there to get some rythem and confidence back into our offense

yeah but 3 sucky qbs have started over Sage and 2 HC's Wanny and Saban dont have confidence in him they know something more than we do dont you think? Sage SUCKS that is why he aint a starter I dont think Saban would have signed Sucky Gus if he thought Sage could start.

Yes there has been good 2nd stringers to come in and do well. Who knows im just tired of every year the fans B**ching all the time for a qb change it gets old. GUS sucks and so does Sage. If Sage does well in practice he should have a chance to start. But for some reason he is not starting. :confused:
