But i'm getting anxious to know the deal with Arrington, it's looking like he's for sure going to be a Jaguar, since no deal has been reached as of 8:30 P.M. Eastern Time, and he visits with them tomorrow. This is killing me!! :fire:

Oh well, hes nothing special. Very overated. Theres a reason he rode pine in DC all year. He'd be a nice addition to the team, but hes nothing worth getting all worked up over, especially at the price he is demanding.

I know, I know. If we don't get him it won't be the end of the world i'm sure we'll draft a LB or upgrade somehow in that department. But I like Arrington a lot, when the guy comes to play he is very talented. I think with him our LB core would be stellar.

I hope we don't sign him, he just does nothing for me...

he's not overrated, he's just a problem child. there's a huge difference. He's like TO, if he behaves, he's worth several million a year.

No, hes overated. TO didnt get benched cause there was somebody better than him on the team like Arrington did. When Warrick Holdman is playing ahead of you, you're not what you're cracked up to be. His reputation is a product of his big salary, popular jersey sales, and high draft selection, not so much his on field performance. Im not saying he sucks, he might even be better than average, but hes not the stud hes made out to be, and he doesnt deserve the money he thinks he does.

I don't know too much about Warrick Holdman, but I do know that when I saw Arrington get into the game (as little as he did), he was a force to be wreckoned with.

Whoa.....what world are you living in? It started with his injury and attitude, not because Warrick Holdman was better then him.... It very much was a TO situation, they decided just to sit him and have him be a small part of the team instead of letting him run his mouth. Nobody in the world besides you thinks Holdman is better then Arrington.

Well said...

Relax people. Miami is his first choice. He wants to be here and will be if the money is right. If he wanted to be in Jacksonville, he'd be there by now.

And if you think he's overrated, you are kidding yourself. The guy is a game changing, disruptive force at LB and I would love to have him here. I think in the end he will be.

In this scheme that Saban runs, Arrington would have the potential to be a HOF player. Arrington has special gifts as far as his physical abilities.

His production to this point in his career has not always mirrored the hype, but I think the potential is there for him to be an amazing player if he were to sign here.
