I'm here in Chicago watching the Bears on TV and Ogunleye is unstoppable rushing against Tampa Bay. We should have kept him. He is awesome.

umm..no

ummmmm.... YES... easily the dumbest move of the Wanny era... you don't give away elite pass rushers like that... ... i don't care that he was holding out... they should have found a way...

We couldn't afford him, I think I remember hearing that if we signed him to the deal he wanted, 70% of our cap would have been on defence.

definately shoulda kept him. funny wanny would give chambers a big contract(which he doesnt deserve) opposed to a guy who had 15 sacks

Also OgUn was young! Only 26 if I remember right. Should of let a vet go and kept the youth.

Ogun was a very good player but a lot of fans just refuse to believe it. They'd rather give the credit to Taylor for Ogun's success. Dolphins should have traded Ogun when the Redskins offered a first round pick. Oh well just another stupid move by our former leadership.

Alex Brown is having a HUGE day.

Ogunleye was a luxery we could not afford. I would have loved to have kept him but with the salary cap and already having a boatload of cash invested in J.T. we could'nt.

Letting him go was all about balancing the salary cap more towards the offensive side of the ball.

The only issue I have is that we got fleeced in the deal to trade him to Chicago.

It was a kneejerk trade by Spielman...he reached for another reciever when Boston got hurt last year. The thing that killed us on that trade was trading the third for Gordon.

I love ogun whoever thinks he isnt good is indenial.. im afraid its not ogun doing all the sacking its alex brown

Ogun is a very good player with a superstar contract. He wasn't affordable for us, easy as that.

It's called a salary cap. Miami couldn't have kept him and stayed under the cap.

BTW that was all Spielman. Wanny hadn't been the GM for about 6 months at that point in time.

Adawale is good but if you dont believe he heavily benefited from JT then YOU are in denile.

Og's two good seasons with Miami were 2002-2003, in those 2 years he attained 24.5 sacks and 75 Tackles. In those same two years Jason Taylor racked up 31.5 sacks and 92 Tackles. Now look at those stats and tell me Taylor wasnt the big factor for Og's success in Miami.

When he held out it was the right move to get rid of him, otherwise we would have been spending far too much money on defense.
