Saban is really starting to make this team look solid despite the 3-6 record. It was nice to watch the offense play 1st and 10 instead of 1st and 15 all game. Results- Frerotte throws for 360 yards (and yes i know N.E's secondary is banged up) Like saban said "when we execute we put our selves in a position to win, when we dont.... well we just dont have enough to win on this team" Chris Chambers your a DECENT reciever, theres a reason why marty booker made the pro bowl a few years ago.... he does his job, he catches the ball. C.C is a nice 2nd option to have in the passing game. And why does he cry after every incomplete pass thrown his way... he wants a pass interferance call every time he dosent make the play, stop crying already, for heaven sakes its pathetic. Props to the o-line the last 3 weeks these guys have protected the QB.

I agree, but it's too bad we make simple mistakes on defense (like Howard going for the ball on the Dwight play) and offense to nullify our success with the penalties.

Reggie howard should be benched or cut hes making way to much money to be playing the way hes played this year.

I think the penalties have been a major plus. In recent games we have been in the game to the end. Add to that, the decent average yard per carry and only giving up 12 sacks all season, it has got to be encouraging news for the O. What worries me is the fact we dont seem to be able to shut down the opponents running or passing game, and that is with a lot of experienced defenders.

yeah the defense needs help but saban will fix it in two years, just look what he did in his first draft 3rd crowder, 2nd roth 4th daniels. I cant wait for next years draft to see how he does.

That was a positive yesterday. We got the penalties under control. Now let's keep them down.

Especially when you consider that some of the penalties called on us weren't actually penaties (Pass InterWHAT???).

Our defense was giving up yards, but they were getting off the field. The unfortunate thing is that in the 3rd quarter we kept them on the field the whole quarter. Honestly, our defense has lost a lot of their edge because they spend so much time on the field regularly, and these guys are old. The offense can only help them by sustaining drives and not committing penalties that makes us conservative on offense.
