In a 3-4 you can NEVER have enough linebackers

I see alot of post talking about how we plan to use all these LB's we have now like who will start and so on and so forth. It really doesn't matter we have a depth now which is what you need in a 3-4 LB core. Now most believe and i am one of them that JT will be gone today. And i for sure see us drafting a hybrid DE/OLB on the first day. But in a 3-4 like we plan to run you need crazy LB depth because they do alot of the running around and tackling for the front 7 so the more solid capable LB's we have the better.

as of right now minus JT we have

Crowder

and hopefully a draft pick now that is a solid rotation and combines with a good rotation of the D line our front seven are FAR better than last year look for more pressure and more physical play. Now one piece in the secondary and i say we overhauled a weak defense and brought a new smash mouth style to your team. It may take while to adjust to the scheme but i see a very good defense in the NEAR future.[/SIZE]

Agreed on the overall stance about the defense and its improvement - on paper. But having said that I don't want JT gone today. On the other hand this organization since the start of '08 has done what was critically needed - to become tougher and younger on Defense. I see immediate improvement from '07 and the difference will be see on the field this year.
