It was just the ending of the regular season, and although we finished 6-10, which is far from a reason to celebrate, we did finish the year on a positive note, marshall looked to regain his beast mode towards the final few months, reggie bush had his best season by far as a running back, our defense looked real good, and although missing the playoffs blows, it seemed that maybe, just maybe, with a bit of a tweek on offense, adding another player here or their, we can be a playoff team next year, and with all the turmoil that was surrounding the jets and their collapse, the bills choking last year like ususal, things looked up in fin nation for the most part.

Fast forward to 400 pm march 13th, 2012, and we go from potentially looking like a very solid team with some promise, to now being a joke again and maybe being in the basement of the afc east.

we trade our best offensive player for a bag of balls, our number 1 wr now is either bess or hartline which is comical, the top tier wr's are off the market in jackson, wayne, whom everyone thought was part of a possible combo with manning, well that is obviously false, and blackmon all but certain to be gone by our pick, we are left with no number 1.

also, for those who say '' well its early, calm down'', well guess what? stud wrs, qbs, etc dont grow on trees. they are not going to just fall onto the dolphins one day. we had one of our own, and decided at 27 years old that it was time to trade him for absolute garbage.

now if your peyton manning, why the **** would u want to come to miami now? before we had appealing play makers on our team to compete with arizona. although fitz is better by marshall, its not by that much where he would lean towards one team so favorably based on that. now he sees he can either throw to fitzgerald as his top wr, or bess/hartline, geez i wonder who he will choose.

this is just so frustrating, because i had hope for this season, and now it took a big hit today with this **** we have had to endure.

the only qb who can come into miami now and make our wrs look decent is manning, and i have my doubts now. its amazing how fast things change, from looking like a possible respectful franchise again, to now going right back to a laughingstock.

We should all arive tommorow at davie and just throw rocks at them. im so pissed

It felt like the winds were changing and we were finally turning it around, and then BAM!.... back to misery.

Did today really happen? If their is a master plan i really can't even fathom
what the heck it could be.

I really don't understand. It seems like a child can who plays madden all day can run this team better than our FO. Why does this happen to us? Why does it always come to **** over night? People complain about Marshall dropping the ball but at least he got opened with his strength thirty yards down the field. No disrespect to hartline and bess, but come guys really? Marshall was a huge decoy as well. Major major loss this year. I too was excited about this upcoming season but now I once again fear I won't be buying madden anytime soon. Nor will I be driving down to see a game. Unless we trade up and get Blackmon and sign manning. Honestly I don't even think that is enough at this point. Idk maybe philbin can help us. Maybe he is the next Bilicheck. IDK may he could be the next Cam Cameron. I am to upset to continue atm. Really really upsetting.

I mean there is nothing I could think of to get this team back up to where it could of been this next year. Honestly I feel we should raid the complex and just run things ourselves guys. Seriously at least we would have plausible reasons and assumptions on why we did these things. This is disgraceful to us dolphin fans. We pay to watch what........A circus. That is all.

So positive before this day even earlier but this trade and FA signings has totally ruined a lot for me today. It may sound sad to guys that some one could be so upset but you not. Im a dolphin fan.... you should be upset too.

I thought you were referring to a laughing stock from yesterday to today.

We were a laughing stock to end the 2011 season, then we had a bright future seemingly for a few weeks this offseason, and in ONE day it goes from that back to laughing stock.. and some fans have the b*lls to say Wayne was a bad owner! HA..

Its tough being loyal to this team, and embarrassing.

Embarrassed to be a Dolfan :tubes:
it deff is somewhat embarrassing. although ill always love the dolphins ( i dont know why, all they have given me since ive been a fan is misery, misery, and more misery) this is just so frustrating.

we have had 2 players on offense in the past 10 years that i would call ''stars''.

1. ricky williams
2. brandon marshall.

when ricky quit on us in 2004, that hurt me so badly, i remember it like yesterday. However in that situation, you cant really blame anyone in the front office, because ricky quit on us himself ( obviously he would have been suspended for drug use anyways, etc) so the frustration is direct towards the player who chose his fate.

here with marshall, he was young, elite, etc, and we ship him off for nothing. we basically made the bears a really big threat in the nfc ( does philbin have something vs his former team, because this just made chicago a legit threat with this trade)

their are just some things in life that you never understand the reason, and this is deff one of them. i cant imagine why this happened.

Just stunned at the moment! I mean what was that...and is Jeff still sitting there with that smug look on his face after giving away our best offensive player for almost nothing. Best I can hope is that they have some master plan. Was Brandon that much of a locker room problem.

Colts got a brighter future than us!

And no one remembers last season...As many of us predicted, no one cares about the past.

No idea WTF they are doing
