What one word reaction would you post of you learned that ST was cut and did not make the 53-man roster?

Sucks!

Anyone who follows the NFL knows there are pre-season and training camp hero's that never amount to much of anything once the real lights come on. If he was cut then I would trust that Coach knows something we don't. After all, Coach is the one that has been seeing this guy day in and day out.

he won’t clear waivers.....you have to keep him on the 53 or we will lose him
If we like him and keep him on the 53 I have no problem with that.

If we cut him and he makes it to our practice squad I have no problem with that.

If he's cut I have no problem with that.

If he has a tremendous 8 game run in the USFL some year I have no problem with that.

hope he clears waivers so we can put him on the PS.

more than one word!
Forget about him clearing waivers if he is cut.

This kid with some weight room work and some solid coaching could very well be an interesting player in this league.

Watch his progressions in most plays, he has the calmness in the storm as he goes through them. This isn't something that can be taught.

I have full confidence that McDaniel and the coaching staff will keep the 53 players on the final roster they feel will benefit the team the most.

So whether that final 53 includes Thompson or doesn’t include him is something I will accept. The coaches know the needs of the team far more than anyone on here, including me.

If he makes the 53 I will be happy for him.

Disappointed. Would be how I'd describe how I'd feel.

Whether or not, Skylar Thompson amounts to anything more than he's shown, remains to be seen.

Miami has a chance to keep a player that has shown some very good qualities. The thing is, Skylar, comes cheap, being he's a 7th rounder. Miami has spent between $4m-$6m per on their backup QB for about a decade now.

Skylar would be very cheap to keep around, which would allow Miami a great amount of Cap flexibility moving forward.

That's why I'm hoping, Miami finds a way to keep him rostered.

You nailed it.
