In less than 2 wks we could lead division.

If NE beats the Jets and we take care of business with Oak, we will be playing for Division lead against NE at home. I've always thought on the positive side when it comes to our beloved Dolphins.
 
You also can be out of the race in less than 2 weeks if the Jets their next 2 or if NE wins it's next 2 then you'd be at least 2 games back.

We are supposed to be a 6-10 team, according to most pundits, so when we finish with a winning record in the remaining games you Jests fans can look up and see our @$$e$. :sidelol: :kick: :lol: :) :tongue: :hi5:
 
What I find funny is how we are full out rebuilding, low key players, rookies, and tons of money left in the cap. The jets on the other hand put all their money for this season and the next with high priced veterans ala brett favre. And even though they beat us, I still believe were a better team and most nfl analysists would agree. Pretty pathetic if you ask me....

Supposed to is thrown out the window at this point in the year, you are 5-4(thanks to Chad) and are in contention. I would save the trash talk for if you actually pass us and actually beat us for a change though.

I love this line of thinking. All offseason it was how we overpaid and how we were the Redksins and wouldn't win but now that we are winning it's only for this year. The ONLY old guy we have is Favre and favre has held us back mroe than made us better. We have a great mix of young and vets and we'll have chances in the years ahead. Nothing is guaranteed in this league, 2 years ago we had one of the youngest teams in the league and we made the postseason(remember what that is?) then fell on our faces a year ago- nothing is guaranteed. Remember when Ricky was the final piece to a Championship puzzle? Remember when Saban was building the NFL's next dynasty? How did that work out? remember when Feeley was the nex great QB? Daunte? remember when Beck was the great QB of the future? I do. Don't look too far ahead.

I don't believe any of us thought Feeley was going too be the next great QB. But I understand your point. I am waiting to see if we can become a contender b/4 I say wew are better then anyone. I just like the way the phins are going about building the team.
 
It is a bit too early to put our chances on teams losing certain games. If we beat Oakland and then New England, a playoff spot is ours to lose.

Must be nice to talk ****. Just remember this is the same Jets team that lost to the Raiders earlier in the season. Jets are garbage, I said the same thing about the Bills and you see where they're at. If the Jets lose tonight I don't want to hear anything out of the media about them. They're overrated, haven't proven **** and are going to be screwed when Old man Brett goes down.

Can't wait to see Pennington light you mfers up at the end of the season.

lol your the man! i wish i could say things like that but i have one to many infractions at this point
 
lol The Jets could still have the division lead, even if they lose tonight. Yea they would have 2 losses in the division, but they still would have a win against us . . . so it they lose this week and beat the Titans the week after . . . and we "win" both games . . . the Jets still would be on top of the division.
