a tight end named Pascal Smith will be coming into the draft and this kid may just be a back up but boy he can sure block and catch . i am not sure how well he will adjust to the nfl . here is his short bio

Paschal Smith tight end okla. state
he is 6'4 260 lbs runs a 4:49 played 11 games caught 2 passes for 44 yards in one game but he wants to be a nfl tight end and has good character and work ethics. my question here is 6'4 tall enough to be nfl and is 260 too heavy for the posistion ?

i know the other two tight ends are real studs and have better numbers but i want to know how big does a kid have to be to play in the nfl .

If he's that size and runs a 4.49, I'm sure he'd get a teams attention.

Hold on a second here...it is June and we're already talking about a TE who caught a whopping 2 passes, and probably won't even get drafted.

I can understand the discussions about guys like Brian Brohm, Jake Long, Colt Brennan, etc. But Pascal Smith?

ya y would you + a TE isent our biggest worry

To answer you question...6'4" is tall enough and 260 is not too heavy for the position. That's exactly how big Antonio Gates was when he first came into the league. Tony Gonzalez, Heath Miller and Jeremy Shockey are also within that range at TEs.
