In support of Jamar Fletcher- He will start soon!

yah wait til he starts...awesome one game, horrible the next. u'll find out soon enough

Amm..he played well last year, top of my head 3 interceptions and saved a couple of games for us against the Broncos. Im not here to debate or argue. I honestly think JF is a very good player. He fits into the cover 2 scheme perfectly! And he played lights out yesterday and has been playing well since he came here.

OH well. Good for him and good for you. I hope you enjoy the NFL season, since it's turning out to be a dead duck for me and us Dolfans ;)

OH man, come on..you cant have that attitude..trust me, this is coming from a Chargers fan who went through 1-15, 4-12, 6-10, 4-12, etc...year after year after year.

As much as we were getting our heads pummeled to the ground, I never once denied the boys passion to win the game. What amazes me from the new posters that Ive been seeing pop in here, is their idealogy of players not trying. Do you really think these guys arent trying.

Heres the reality Fin Fans:

1. HH took 2-3 years to get HIS players in camp, NOTE HIS PLAYERS.
2. Saban, new scheme, new tempo, new ideology. (2 years at least for buy
in).
3. Ronnie Brown will get his numbers, trust me. He is a good back.
4. Defense will be an issue soon, re-stock in draft. Seau, Crockett, etc..
5. NEED A QB (I still dont understand in giving the reigns to Gus when Feeley is young- YOU HAVE TO EXPIRMENT, note Drew Brees)
6. Team Chemistry is VERY IMPORTANT! The team is pointing fingers, you cant have that!

Last but not least-----YOU HAVE TO GIVE TIME TO REBUILD! As much as people seem to forget, having an entire new coaching staff = rebuilding.
San Diego's run last year was nout out of the blue. It was Marty, John Butler (RIP), AJ Smith restocking for 2-3 years before the run last year.

Fletcher instead of Brees? Wanny is such an idiot!:shakeno:

Yea we didn't need a DB more than we needed a QB during that draft!

I mean what a freaking idiot!

Why are we still bashing Fletcher? Is any worse than Howard... NO!

I believe to some who have not put down their cross they think Fletcher is worse than Howard.

At least that is what I get from their constant whinning about him.

LT 21 - Good post. I appreciate a Chargers' fan coming over here and giving us some good therapy. I have been a Dolphins' fan for a long time. Dolphins' fans are some very unique people. We have the only team with the winningest coach, greatest QB, best overall record, and only perfect season in the NFL. That makes us very spoiled fans. We hold this organization to a very high standard and, under Wanny, this team was absolutely trashed.

I think the other thing about the Dolphins is this team has shot itself in the foot so many times the past 2-3 years....it just drives you crazy. I can live with an under talented team that simply gets beat, but boy when you beat yourself over and over again, that's rough.

Anyway, thanks for the good words. I'm happy for the Chargers and wish you guys the best. In time, we'll be a quality team again, but the wait is killing most of us.

Even when we were 11-5 and 10-6 we'd go to the playoffs and lose. It's a false hope. It always has been. Look, I love Sundays. I love having something to look forward to on the weekend, aside from nightlife.

I've been a Dolfan for almost 15 years now and it never changes. No matter who the coach is or who the players are. I'm never going to stop being a Dolfan, but it got old real quick, and a long time ago. Every year is the same thing, and the same result. At least San Diego went to the Super Bowl in my lifetime

What year did Marino bring the Phins to a SB?

Jamar is a personal friend of mine. Nice to see him doing well out west. I wonder if his brother still represents him.

I'm the one who told him he would be a Dolphin (we were the same year together
at Wisconsin, and I'm psychic). Unfortunately the fans here hated him for stupid reasons. He is a very good defensive back. Glad to see he'll do well and have them eating crow.

He's not only a good football player but a real swell down-2-earth type guy.
