In your honest opinion....

I feel like there aren't enough Tannehill threads on this board.

ETA: Nice save, OP. Nice save.

Dont see much of a difference, jags have had an even easier schedule since they dont play the pats, jets and pats twice and yet the team still has a crappy record. Bortles completes less of has passes and for those that say its because of tannehills check downs, tannehill averages slightly more per pass. Both are average qbs right now. I guess you can say bortles looks to have a brighter future since hes only in his second year but we were saying the same thing about tannehill then too. You just never know which is why im not ready to give up on tannehill though.

There have been Tannehill threads posted recently?

Again, starting threads should be a privilege to paying customers

There just needs to be moderators to merge threads. You don't need to start a thread just because you have a thought on your mind. Contribute to a thread that is already open

I am... like it or not... good or bad... he is our OB for the remaining games this season and most likely at least the first 6 or 7 games of next season even if he craps the bed... I just think that he is in the middle of the pack this year and expectations that he would move to the top ten haven't been realized... but he will be given the opportunity to do so again and when we are done with him he will have the opportunity to do it elsewhere...

We live in an era of self-important, self absorbed morons. Just the way it is, unfortunately. Most people can't even spell or use proper grammar anymore.

I think the main reason he is on a ton of threads is because it is 4 years later and that's about the time you get itchy. There is also a huge divide on RT. Management loves him, but I think coaches see him as a game manager. Sprinkle in the salary he gets for two years and it is a great debate. The biggest issue, however, is what it will take, if anything, for him to crack a top 8. There seems to be fluid excuses for him, coaching, line, scheme, audibles, etc...And frankly no one wants to get burned if we cut him and he succeeds, however, no one wants to hold onto a player too long

The best outcome is that no matter what he stays till 2017. We are forced to based on contract. I think it is safe to say that a full 5 years or part of it is enough. In the meantime, if we can hire a gifted offensive mind as HC or OC, let them do their evals. We have to trust them, right? And I hope the FO is objective too. If the evals come back that we need to move in the future with a qb, then it will depend on just how aggressive and how fast they want to do that....maybe a trade in the draft or bring a vet in (or both). We cannot be afraid to shake things up even if someone has a huge contract. That can be worked around.

Yes....but the nature of the position and importance makes it natural to over anaylize the QB's performance.

I'm ok with that.....I just get tired of posts that neglect all the factors that go into winning though and put everything on the Quarterback.

No, the issue is...any thread that doesn't deal specifically with the QB tends to get pushed off the first page within a day.
