Viva la resistance!!!
That's why the buffalo bills are so good...
Is that really the example you want to use?
That's why the buffalo bills are so good...
bet he doesn't claim it on his taxes lol
You might be surprised. These guys have people who handle their money for them, it's how most of them get robbed and wind up broke. To be honest, I don't know if or how much they deduct this stuff, or how we even got on this tangent, but IMO this entire conversation shows how much of a disconnect there is between the accepted norms and behavior between so many different groups of people.
As for if I were a GM, would I sign Richie? I might give him a chance, depending on the circumstances. Would I refuse to allow him to be on the team's leadership council? Again, depends on the circumstances. Why are Ben Roethlisberger and Michael Vick in those positions? Why were they given second chances?
That said, I think I actually have more of a problem with signing Richie than allowing him to be on the leadership council. And I know that is a strange position, but if he was genuinely a model teammate and someone who was consistently trying to get the best out of the other players, and if Joe Philbin had no clue that Jon Martin was uncomfortable with him and afraid of him, then why would Joe refute the vote?
IMO the bottom line here is that when you take a chance on giving someone a second (or third) chance, just be ready to get burned.
So if you were a GM and had the chance to sign Cog's would you? and would you let him be on the leadership team?
