Remember when Steve Smith beat the snot out of his running back teammate in training camp?
It was caught on film too wasn't it? It was a complete broadside attack. He totally messed him up.

What did they end up doing to Smith?
Now look at what the NFL has come to. Is the staff to blame for jumping the gun and CAVING to Media insanity?
OR - Is it more a matter of Smith is a baller and Incognito hasn't exactly been playing great this year?

No disrespect, but I honestly don't care anymore.

Was that Steve Smith or was that Michael Westbrook with the Redskins.

Westbrook snapped during the Redskins' 1997 training camp, attacking Davis and beating the running back repeatedly in an ugly incident caught on camera. The Redskins fined Westbrook $50,000.

Romo punched a teammate in the face and wrecked his grill.

So, this is how it is going to go....every single incident that has happen between players, every comment made by former players are going to get their own thread...fantastic...

Again, this situation is unique in the fact that the other player left and made it very public leading to an investigation by the NFLPA...

What the OP and others are describing are fights. There haven't been accusations of long term patterns of abuse. That's why this situation is being handled differently.

Steve Smith has done this multiple times to teammates. He once punched out a fellow wide receiver in a film room meeting because the guy asked the coach to show the play again and it was a play where Smith screwed up. He got up and ****ing cold ****ed the guy. IIRC he actually hurt him, too.

Because Smith abused Talib last night he's ok in my book

You just don't get it man. Cogs dropped the N bomb, that alone is thee worst thing a white man can possibly do, it says so in the brother handbook.

Riley Cooper did much worst and all he got was some kind of 'sensitivity training'. The context was also much worst, really they can't even be compared.

What was it that cooper said ? hmm i beleave it was something like i hate all you N or ill kill all you N , I know that the N word SHOULDNT BE SAID NO TIME ,But Cooper didnt get Nothing out of what he did , except for saying hes sorry , I Mean com on , you Cant suspended one player for use of the word and let the other player walk ? Hell Cog has done paid 2x more than cooper has , and is STILL PAYING FOR IT , Nobody needs to be useing that word But if you going to suspended one player for useing it , i think cooper should have gotten the same suspention as Cog is getting. And you can bet that Cog will bring this up , and could have some kind of law suite for treating players unfairly .

Cog isn't getting suspended for using the n word though. Hes being investigated for "harassment" and "bullying" because one of Jonathan Martin. If Incognito just dropped the n word in a public place like the video he did in TMZ. Probably wouldn't have been a big deal. Sort of like Matt Barnes dropped the n-word on twitter and the media tried to make a big deal about it and Barnes played it off and nothing came from it. . This is much more about the n-word. From day 1 the media has portrayed Incognito as a big mean thug who has bullied who own teammate into a mental breakdown that and the big bad Dolphins are the organization that knew all this information and turned the blind eye.

No disrespect, but I honestly don't care anymore.

This in our mind HAS to be a non issue, lets move on, lets focus on Carolina...

f*** the media
F*** the Martins

lets Move on... my level of "give a f***" is at an all time low with this issue
