6-4 1/2 and 227 pounds
Officially at Florida Atlantic's pro day, Boehringer ran a 4.41-second 40-yard dash, had a vertical of 39 inches, a 10-foot-11 broad jump, a 4.09-second short shuttle, 11.15-second 60-yard shuttle, and a 6.64-second three-cone drill that had scouts on the ground doing double-takes at their stopwatches, shaking their heads, and laughing. He also had 17 lifts on the bench press. All of these marks would have landed inside the top five among all wide receivers who tested at the NFL Scouting Combine in February.

Freaky numbers. He was GFL Rookie of the Year - 70 receptions, 1,461 yards, and 16 TD's. Poor competition that just couldn't handle his athleticism. In some of the highlights, he looked like Terrell Owens going up against high school players. It's interesting that he just started playing football in 2013. You'd expect him to be really raw, and he may show that, but he played in-line TE, slot, and out wide, and he looked pretty sound in each role. I haven't seen a lot, but I've seen enough to say that I'd be wiling to spend a 6th or 7th on him.

I would have no problem if they drafted him a round above projection and took a chance.

His highlights show a player with supreme NFL numbers as far as size and speed goes playing against some players that might not make your local high school team. Can he read coverages and adjust routes? Can he take a hit from a player that's not 5'7 and 160 pounds? He'll get a look by some team, but I think he's still a long shot. I would rather bring in someone like Marquez North from Tennessee who is 6'4 220 pounds runs a 4.4 and has actually played football at a higher level. Due to prior injuries and not living up to expectations, North very well could go undrafted or maybe be selected in the 7th round. However, I think if a player like North played in the German League he might put up impressive numbers too.

The competition he's playing against looks like glorified high school football.

Insane measurables, but doubt he would be able to stand out at all against anyone in the NFL.
