Dolphins | Update on UDFA Kimble injury

Greg A. Bedard, of the Palm Beach Post, reports undrafted rookie free agent WR Eric Kimble (Eastern Washington) fell to the ground during a non-contact situation during the Miami Dolphins' minicamp. He was quickly carted off the field and it appears he suffered a right Achilles' injury.

The Miami Herald reports undrafted rookie free agent WR Eric Kimble (Eastern Washington) left the Miami Dolphins' morning practice with an undetermined leg injury and did not return for the afternoon session.

The Miami Herald reports free agent LB Barrett Green (Giants) missed some of the Miami Dolphins' morning drills due to a leg injury. He was able to work out during the afternoon session.
 
Kimble already had a contract

i thought kimble was signed as a udfa, on miamidolphins.com theres a poll where you can vote for who you think is the most significant udfa signed and kimble was on there

Opps. I was wrong. Still though, Kimble didn't have much of a shot. I hope his injury isn't too bad, but he is still just camp fodder.

that blows. its gotta suck to hurt your achillies without even havin the pads on.
 
Kimble is under contract. He is the eleventh WR and that's likely about where he is on the depth chart as well. His chance would have come as a RS. Any word of whether he was on the field Sunday?

Barret Green had been a promising OLB with seven years in the NFL who has been injured the past two seasons. If he was healthy I thought he had a chance to be offered a contract. He is at a position of need and has played ST. A bit smallish at 6', 225 but he had a chance. Again did he make it back out on Sunday?

So are you saying that you think Kimble would have made the roster?
