Times must be tough on the QB market, we have a choice of a guy who just had a labral repair and a partial supraspinatus repair of his throwing shoulder vs a guy who had what is called the terrible triology which is a ACL, MCL and medical mensicus of his knee.

May be better to error on the knee then the arm, you can always throw the ball with a bad knee, cant with a shoulder

i thought he tor his acl mcl and pcl

actually, there is a new knee brace that will allow him to play already, carson palmer has the same injury and he will be ready for camp so there is no reason to believe culpepper could not practice in may, takes six months to stabilize it and a year to be normal agains

Brees will be ready for TC, and gets a contract we offer him.

Culpepper won't be ready till week 8, and we inherit his contract.

Brees is 2 years younger, Culpepper is 6 inches taller.

If Culpepper returns to his form before the knee injury, he's the better pickup. BUT, he blew out his entire knee so he might never be the same.

Palmer tore his ACL.

Culpepper tore his ACL,MCL,and PCL.

Huge difference.

I agree. IMO, I would rather take Culpepper than Brees. I'd be happy with either, but I prefer Culpepper.

Their both gambels in my opinion. However, Brees seems to be recovering without a problem. And for all the Daunte haters saying he was only good with Moss, their right. We have McMichael, Ronnie, and Chambers. Imagine how good either or will look with that.

id go with brees cause he is available game 1 ready to start our back to the playoffs movement.

and he wouldn't cost us a draft pick.
