DAVIE -- Several injured Dolphins didn't practice on Monday, the first day back for the team since beating the Lions 27-10 on Thanksgiving Day.

Running back Ronnie Brown sported an orange cast on his surgically repaired left hand while riding the stationary bicycle. Brown, who broke a bone in his left hand during the third quarter Sunday, will not play Sunday against the Jaguars.

Ronnie not playing is a HUGE loss. I like Sammy but when he's your starting running back with Travis Minor backing him up....I'm quite concerned. Hopefully they can be good enough and Joey continues to play well.

Get Suggs back Minor is a horrible #2, or pull Cobbs up

If Ronnie is a "Huge Loss", pack it in now.

Denver is always able to get running production out of it's backups. Ours should be able to step up for a game or two.

well, if they made the decision now then i dont think it looks to brightful for ronnie next week either, but nothing is for sure. Anywho, i am fairly confident morris and minor can handle it for one game but it will be a challange.

Denvers offensive line is a clinic so it doesn't matter who they plug into their system. Most other teams don't have that luxury. I would imagine if Morris and Minor see alot of action the next several weeks you wont see a ton of rushing yards.

Not so much this year

your right. i forgot taht denvers o line is as inconsistent as ours. you are right there....

RB is needed for 1 main reason for this week...Jags are a TOUGH PHYISCAL HARD HITTING DEFENSE and RB usually hits TOUGH DEFENSES right back. thats what we will miss, his hard extra 2-3 yards.

Just a little fyi, we don't have complete fluffballs backing up Brown. In their respective backup roles Morris has averaged 3.9 YPC and Minor has averaged 4.1 YPC in their careers.

Sammy Morris will have a good game but the one thing that worries me about him is that he fumbles way to much.

Well i heard that Jeno James is suppose to be back and if he is i see us running well...The Bills ran well on sunday i dont see why we wouldnt be able to...We have to keep running the ball all game and stick to it...

this sucks. we need all the running attack in full force vs jax.
