Injury update: Wide receiver Wes Welker strained an oblique muscle in his side during Wednesday's practice, which caused him to miss a portion of Thursday's workout. However, coach Nick Saban said he does not anticipate Welker will miss much more time.

Howard, who missed last week's game with an ankle sprain, said he will play Sunday. He remains listed as questionable.

Defensive tackle Keith Traylor also might practice for the first time since having arthroscopic knee surgery Dec. 6. He is questionable for Sunday's game.

I hope that Welker can play in the game. I think that Minor can do a good job at returning the kicks, it's just that I don't feel safe with Gilmore or Russell as the 3rd WR.

Welker will play so it doesnt matter, but for the sake of it.

Correct me if im wrong but i believe Minor is our backup KR and Booker is our backup PR.
