well after read just hte first part its simple. we are ****ED! loll who on earth can we get wiht about 8 mill dolalrs and holes lal over the team? yet another dissapointing offseason can be on the way, i sure hope not. this is why u dont sign holliday that just ate up 3.5 or so in cap space! cut jeno, bennie, seth, joey, carter if he doesnt get his 6.5 down to 3 or something.
 
We will be fine with the cap bro, chill.:wink: We can let players go who will give us more cap room. Keep the faith, and pick up the towel you just threw in bro.:D

First, we aren't $8mil under, we are $10mil...Holiday only counts $3mil against the cap "this" year.

Secondly, Booker would clear $3.7mil, Harrington $2mil, James $2mil, Peele $1mil, and Anderson $2.1mil...

Mckinney has a $3mil roster bonus we can clear for extra cash...or cut him for a full $4mil, Carter has $5mil roster bonus we can clear...or cut him for $4mil...not to mention $2.1mil from Big Daddy if we have to.

Also McMichael has a $5mil roster bonus we can use cap room from...along with contracts of players like Chambers, Mare, Taylor, and Thomas.

We have tons of cap room. We just need to manipulate it. :wink:

Very good breakdown. We should be okay. All I would expect in FA is Dielman anyway.

bro did you froget about the restricted FA? about 1.5 towards them man.
 
I never dreamt I'd say this, because I really like his character. But if someone wanted to give us a 2 (or maybe even a good 3) I'd let them have Welker. I love what Wes does, and he's productive, but I think we could upgrade that position anyway and I like to have another pick to play with. If we got another 2 we could trade it with our first to move up, or just take three players in the first two rounds. Either is fun on draft day. I'm not saying we should expect it, look for it or want it, but if things play out that way it's probably a smart football decision, all personal affections aside.
