Defensively, the 49ers have given up 683yds.(227yds/game.) through the air to their last 3 opponents(Dallas, Buffalo, NY Jets). The Cowboys gained the bulk of those passing yards(314) with TO gaining 213yds on 7 receptions. Both the Jets and the Bill were terrible through the air. Neither team scored a TD through the air and Favre's one highlight was a pick. During that same stretch, the aforementioned teams were able to gain 289yds.(96yds/game) on the ground. Both Dallas and New York were awful running the ball, gaining 74 and 59 yards respectively. But TO had a huge game and the Jets rely way too much on Favre. The Bills were able to gain 156yds, so I think playing at home the R&R express can equal that feat.

On offense, over the last 3 games, San Francisco has put up 56pts. The Gold Miners have defeated the Jets and Bills in their last two victories. Despite having Gore at RB, the 49ers' have only averaged 61yds. on the ground the last three outings. Against Dallas, they only posted 26yds. rushing. And with Gore, more than likely, not playing, this is a huge advantage for the Dolphins. Shaun Hill has averaged 249yds/game over the last 3 outings. Hill, if you go by the stats, is a middle of the road QB and he is prone to throwing a pick. In two of the last three outings he has turned the ball over.

San Francisco has fumbled the 11times(5/Jets, 4/Bills, 2/Cowboys) in the last 3 games losing 3 of those balls. Hill has also been intercepted twice. We are first in the league in TO margin at +12 and SF is last at -14.

If we shut down the run and put the pressure on Hill to beat us, I think the 49ers will be in trouble and we should win this game easily.

I think the final score will pretty much mirror the stats you put together. Fins win by at least a TD.

One more stat of consequence:

Shaun Hill has been sacked 9 times in the last 3 games, so here's to hoping that Porter can get a couple in the game.
