Not sure if this has been posted ,but here it is just in case it has not from Espn Insider.
Word is Dolphins special assistant Scott O'Brien has been told that there is no longer a future for him with the franchise now that Nick Saban, who brought in O'Brien to be his eyes and ears at the team's headquarters, has departed. We hear that it's hard to find anyone at Dolphins headquarters who likes O'Brien, who was brash and abrasive in his role as Saban's right-hand man.
The Dolphins don't want to let go of QB coach Jason Garrett, who's under contract through 2007. We hear that Miami refused the Browns' request to have Garrett interview for Cleveland's offensive coordinator position. However, Nick Saban is pursuing Garrett to be his offensive coordinator at the University of Alabama, and there may not be any way for Miami to prevent Garrett from leaving for a college job.
