Apparently, in the past, the O-line coach did not work with the tight ends on their blocking techniques; however, this year Houck is, and it's showing big dividends.
The part I like and think is funny is:
What's appalling is for four years, our previous coaching staff did not identify or correct what could be considered a serious flaw in blocking technique. :hmmm: Not sure what they were thinking, but maybe they should give Wayne some of his money back.

Said McMichael: 'The first time I met [Houck] he told me, `You come off the ball well, but your footwork is sloppy at times going against big guys. And you're not going to overpower the big defensive ends, so you have to do it with your quickness and footwork.' ''
The part I like and think is funny is:
''It's night and day, man,'' McMichael said. ``The thing about blocking is it's fun when you can dominate somebody. That's just as much fun as catching a pass. It's more intimidating to bury a guy on a block than catching a long pass. That's letting him know that I'm whipping your butt and I'm coming back again for more.''
