If this has been posted already, I apologize. However, I think this is a really interesting read about the NFL draft from a historical perspective. I'll let the article speak for itself, but it really makes you think twice about the wisdom of trading down from a top draft spot.

I'm sorry, but any article that lists Nick Barnett and Keith Bullocks next to Marino and Darrell Green is a HUGE crock of sheeoyytt :rolleyes:

That article really contradicts itself. They're attempting to debate that the late round picks are so great. But they only list the late-round busts in recent years because "those picks were only around for a few years"

Umm, there were so picks 16-32 in the 70's. They were just in the 2nd Round :rolleyes:
