Like the article said...NFL players aren't starving.

I think the other leagues are way off the mark.
 
Nobody forced ya into being a professional athlete :shakeno:

I'm a union rep at the hospital.....every night we are understaffed, especially nurses.......I won't cry a frickin river for a union that represent professional athletes. Million dollar salaries and they get meal money :shakeno:

Like the article said, the money from the TV contracts is greater because of labor peace. If the NFLPA wants to get tough, the money from the primary source of revenue to the league would start drying up and then guess what happens?? Ticket prices for all types of seats go way up and teams in smaller markets would be eliminated.
