On a positive note.
I was watching NFL Network and they were critiquing the Vin Jackson contract. Baldy made a very interesting comment at he felt the pick up and contract was not justified. He said having premium dollars in a WR is not necessary. He said that the premier teams in the league do not invest large money into WR. Championships are won with your interior line’s and Premium QUATERBACK play. His examples – NE, Green Bay, Giants (although they draftd Nicks in the 1[SUP]st[/SUP] – I was SOOOOOO Pissed at Miami that year cause I wanted either Nicks or K Britt).
So I started thinking maybe he has a point. Maybe Philbin finds 2-3 good receivers that can get the job done. Just MAYBE. Nut 1[SUP]st[/SUP] he HAS to hit on a QB. So, I guess what I am trying to say is maybe some of need to give the front office a chance. I know it is hard based on their track record but maybe just maybe, and hopefully they have a plan.
