Interesting Cowher report

It was actually a report from NYPost so it could be worse than PFT...lol.

I'm not a Cowher fan, but that's quite a stretch calling him disingenuous and a snake for disagreeing with Donahoe over personnel issues. You act like he stabbed him in the back and lied about it, which is completely false. I think looking back it was probably a good decision by Rooney to let Donahoe go. Cowher proved that by having some of his best seasons, winning a Super Bowl, and drafting some future HOFers after Donahoe left the Steelers. I'd rather have Cowher as a GM than a HC to be honest.
 
I say BS because the Chargers still have a coach and Cowher will not speak with a team with a coach in place. This is Cowher's ethics. This happened last year with us in that he would not interview due to having a coach still in place.

He did stab him in the back. Well chronicled. Cowher's nucleus was created by Donahoe. Tom Donahoe is one of the best personnel people in the business.
 
If you go to the chargers forum it has been posted several times the rumor was squashed. Whether or not that proves anything is yet to be decided. I also heard Fisher was on the sideline but don`t know if this has been confirmed or not.
 
Fisher is going to go to SD or St. Louis.

I have said a million times...we need to get ready for the "2nd tier candidate". They might end up being good coaches, but Ross is not going to score any from the "Mt. Rushmore" of coaching.

Well he hasnt had a job in the NFL in 5 years, so I beg to differ. He completely blew it with the Bills, and even traded a 1st, 2nd and 5th round picks to Dallas so he could reach for JP Losman. I wouldnt want him as my GM either.
 
If Cowher goes to SD then A.J. Smith will be let go.

A.J. Smith would be an instant upgrade to Jeff Ireland.

A.J. does have an abrasive attitude ...........

What are you dtalking about? We have Matt Moore man. You know, the greatest quaterback ever to grace the field. At least thats what some of the blind koolaid drinking homers would want you to believe.
 
This job is way less attractive than San Diego that is for sure.

I couldn't disagree more about that AJ comment. The last 4 or 5 drafts haven't been that great, and he is a big part of the problems here besides Norv as head coach.
