This is a cut and paste from the NFL free agent section of scout.com. I haven't seen this on here, so I hope it's something new.

This one is from 2-13-06
One rumor which has made some rounds in recent days has the Minnesota Vikings trading quarterback Daunte Culpepper to the St. Louis Rams for a first-round draft selection, with the Rams then dealing quarterback Marc Bulger to the Miami Dolphins for an undisclosed draft selection.
Speaking of the Dolphins, it appears the Saban-led troops have an interest in oft-troubled free agent wide receiver Koren Robinson (Seattle and Minnesota). Also, Miami is believed to have an interest in free agent wide receiver Antwaan Randle El.
This is from 2-14-06
Terrell Owens to Denver. Owens to Chicago. Owens to Miami. The story remains the same. Owens is attempting to remake himself, which will be quite a feat, but will land him in an NFL city for the 2006 season despite his oft-controversial antics. The Eagles would welcome a deal for Owens, since they are convinced he has some value and have been reluctant to release the All-Pro caliber player.

Plenty of speculation surrounds the status of Miami Dolphins running back Ricky Williams. Armed with a team-friendly contract, speculation has been that Williams is on the trading block. Contrary to that belief, those close to the Dolphins inform this column the team has no desire to deal the quirky Williams and have not been approached about a deal.

Good news.. i hope that undisclosed draft pick is a 3rd

mark Bulger Would Be A Good Pick For Qb Over Gus

Absolutely. He's a possibiliy I have not heard before this post. I'd love to see him in a Dolphin uniform.

if we pick up Bulger and K Robinson we will be set at WR and QB finally for once!!! this would be amazing but now the problem can be opwrking on the D and i see miami going ALLLLLLL D in the drafit if we pick up those 2 and aim for Bentley.

Wow, Bulger. I'm not sure of how well he fits this scheme, however I could see Bulger going to the Lions with Martz there. I would be very happy with Bulger at QB, I doubt we would be able to get him for a 3rd round pick. I would assume that the Rams could get Culpepper for a 2nd rounder then get that 2nd rounder back with Bulger. Bulger>Culpepper so we would make out pretty good in the deal. If we did trade for Bulger our 1st round pick should be a LT, Bulger needs as much protection as possible because he tends to wait for the downfield WR rather than go short.

Bulger would be a great pickup, depending on what we give up for him

Assuming he doesnt try and play linebacker and injure himself again....

Only thing about Bulger I'd hesitate on is that we'd probably have to give up a 2nd round pick. IMO, the time will soon come to have a QB to call our own and sometimes just getting 30 year olds to do a short dash every few seasons will take a toll on chemistry...especially if we were giving up a second round pick.

I think Randle El will go back to Pittsburgh and I actually like Robinson. He's turned his life around since last season but I see him staying in Minnesota and he has been more effective as a returner than a WR as of late anyway.

Doubt it..But it would be nice

:toilet: As wierd as it sounds, it makes sense. I always said Lenihan would opt for Ferrotte or Dante. They know his system and it is complicated.
Bulger has a great deep ball, and would serve us well for 3-5 years. Im just a little nervous about his injuries. A second would be too much for a guy who played about 60% of the season last year. A third rounder would be a great deal. Pick up Croyle in the 2nd. Then go All Defense the rest of the draft.
AND WE KEEP RICKY.....!!!!!:cooldude:
