"Drew Rosenhaus was one of the few agents who privately didn't bury Jeff Ireland's methods. And he still is. Sort of."

"I will not publicly talk about the Dolphins organization or Jeff Ireland," he told Joe Rose on WQAM. Rosenhaus is the agent for Yeremiah Bell, whom Ireland told a few weeks before free agency wouldn't be cut and then was cut a week into free agency. Rosenhaus: "I learned a long time ago, if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything, I was very surprised"

He has players to get signed why would he bad mouth them and he might be trying to get Bell re-signed with Miami. Not sure what you would hope he say.

Drew rosenhaus is on par with incarcerated Bob in terms of how much credence I give what he says. Everything he says, and I mean everything, is agenda driven and with always his best interest at heart. When I ever see him on tv as an "insider" or analysist, I snicker to myself and quickly change the channel

I will say that it was pretty classless how Ireland handled the Bell situation, for the last 2 weeks Ireland has been promising bell and rosenhaus that Bell WOULD NOT be cut, Ireland even made public statements about how Bell was to valuable to this team and he is not going anywhere, a few days before FA started Ireland once again assured YB that we would not be cut, but low and behold a week later YB is cut, see the problem with this is you don't promise a team Captain that he is not going to be cut then cut him when the free agent market has dried up and leave him with very limited options, the respectful thing to do would have been to not lie and be honest and tell YB that we want to move in a different direction and cut him when FA starts so he can have a fair shake and get picked up by another team, it's just classless to do that to a team captain, Ireland did YB dirty.

is it possible they tryed to restructure but Bell didnt want to?

Rosenhaus doesn't say anything so that must mean he has major problems with the front office and thinks they are clueless clowns. Notify PFT or Adam Schein to write yet another original Dolphin bashing article. Even though it might be an overreaction we need more and more negative Dolphins articles because even though free agency is a week old and the draft hasn't happened yet, the Dolphins 2012 season is already over.

I'm still surprised that anyone out there is shocked that agents lie to teams, and teams lie to agents. Y. Bell was due a lot of money, contrary to what anyone says or implies, Drew wasn't surprised Ireland released Bell. And if Drew didn't know Y. Bell needs to fire his ass.

It's Business, there's no loyalty in the NFL, Yerimiah Bell knows the business, maybe they re-sign him for less money and then if they don't so what? can't this team conduct business without everything they do gets scrutinized, all of you arm chair Gms need to go and balance a budget and get the best player available and see how money you'll have left, that's why when you buy things and they are too expensive you either buy another cheaper brand or don't buy it at all, please lets just wait and see what's going to happen.

Rosenhaus is always the politician. He's never attacked the Dolphins organization because he has a vested interest in getting along with them. Though I do think the Parcells era has shut him out more completely than previous regimes and I'm surprised his political correctness hasn't shown any cracks.

First the article says privately he didn't bury ireland. A Radio interview is not private. Second, Drew is quoted as saying he will not publicly say anything about the Phins or Ireland, because he doesn't have anything nice to say.
To me that is pretty damning, for Drew, an agent with players to sign, to use the "if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything" approach. That means I could say alot of negative sheet about them, but I'm not....From an agent, that also means "I am pissed at them."

Nonsense, you are asking me to believe that Drew was really surprised that Ireland would do what he did. GM's do it this every day. Only Dolphin fans would get their panties in a bunch. This constant whining over nothing is beyond old, and irrational.

It was also reported that Bell said he would restructure if needed

From what I understand, if he was released the Dolphins save more $ for the cap. I would think we all support that.

I have no problem with cutting Bell was just answering a question. I have much more problem with a team that has three straight losing seasons having cap issues
