Interesting Look at Matt Higgins Twitter

First of all, if fans have been all over this before me, please delate. However, I am around here a lot and have never seen this posted. Of course, Matt Higgins is in the news as having Steve Ross' ear during these tough times. I did a very quick snoop and found his Twitter page.

A few things I observed and hope to see others and their take on him.

* He has been interested in all things Miami Dolphins and Sun Life Stadium events
* He is very snuggled close to Steve Ross
* He has re-tweeted Omar Kelly a lot
* There is a major American soccer angle to him

Finally, he appreciates Eric Mangini and demonstrates it in his June 13th Tweet:

Congrats to Eric Mangini on new gig. Brilliant mind, great person, back doing what he loves.

I appreciate that he is a Mangini fan.
 
I think it was his gig with the Niners...lol.
 
Imagine that all the Jets failures stick together! I would really like to keep the Jets trash off our lawn.
 
Dawn Aponte is also close friends with Mangini.

So, we got a guy who is interested in the Dolphins, snuggles with Ross, likes to talk to Omar a lot, has a soccer angle, and likes Mangini.

Higgins runs Stephen Ross' sports empire and is his top advisor.

I think he is a lot more transparent than I figured he would be. Sorry you did not find this interesting.
 
I had a math teacher in high school named Mr Higgins (no joke), he was about 60 years old at the time. Probably close to 80 now...I'm sure he'll want to bring in Vermeil. At least they can go to Hometown buffet together after the games!
 
As I said last night, and will say again, Higgins is one of the three Vice Chairmans of the Dolphins along with Shula and Perez. Has been all year and specifically worked on hiring Mike Dee's replacement. In fact, Higgins along with Ross introduced Tom Garfinkel at a press conference.

Higgins is not just a "buddy" or friend of Ross, he is a Dolphins employee and has been all year.
