I live in Canton OH and my girlfriend works for a dentist in Belden Village. She told me that Andy Allenman and his family comes into the dentist there. She was talking to his mother today and she said that BP and co. Was talking about starting him at LG. Don't know how true this is but just wanted to let you guys kno. Thanks
 
Unless He has a tremendous offseason, I dont see him sniffing the starting lineup. Injurry Barring of course. THink BP will Draft/use FA to find there 2 starting gaurds this year.

Every guy wants to tell their family and friends their going to get a shot at starting next year. Ya think he was going to tell them he was going to be starting left bench instead?

it's the off-season, until thedraft everything is news.
 
:DCompetition is the Elixir of Success!
a lot of talent needs to be developed throughout the team. no doubt there will be surprises as they compete for spot on the roster.

having said that, if we draft a Monster Center, keep the BookEnds & our starting Guards return healthy, there will be one fierce competition among very capable players for two starting slots.

Think about it.:lol2:

We wont be drafting a monster Center, unless satele injury looks like it can creep into the season. Most likely pick a og/C type guy later in the rounds for depth>

No offense and what you heard could be true, who knows. However (A frineds, mothers, cousin was at the dentisit and overheard....) is not exactly compelling evidence. I'm not saying you're wrong for posting what you heard, just pointing out the unlikelyhood it's true based in where it came from.

:confused: Um, are you the only one in the whole world that missed that fact that MIA signed Justin Smiley and drafted Donald Thomas???

Um, they are our 2 starting guards. Just for your information. :rimshot:

What MIA is looking for is a new "C", not 2 starting guards. Alleman should be the backup C and Satele should end up being the backup G.

No I am quite up to date on my dolphins signings and needs.

Donald Thomas came up big last preseason, but we are not 100% sure what we have in him.PLus he is coming back from an injury

Justin Smiley, can not make it through a full season. While hes healthy, hes a freaking beast. But he is officially no longer dependable.

Satele, was a beast his rookie year. And all of the sudden his 2nd year everyone is claiming he lost his power, was getting overrun by NT's. You just dont loose Power unless you come off roids or had a realllly bad offseason. With the offseason program they went through last year i can gaurantee you there was no chance of him loosing any power.

I will accept that his injury lowered his play last season. It was not his ability in question it was his strength.

If it looks like his injury will not be healed by preseason then yes the fins will be looking for a starting Center to replace him.

If he looks like he is coming along, i am more then sure he will be our starting Center again.

Will he get playing time at gaurd? Yes, of course. Will others get playing time at center? Of course, this is the way it works around here now.
