This really isnt mentioned very often but growing up Peyton was a big Miami Dolphin / Dan Marino fan. Read the Tea Leaves.

I've said in the past that Peyton has an affection for Miami as a football team, but not just because what you say, but because when the Colts played us when they were in our division, we always played Peyton tough and won alot too. He has respected us. He probly hates Lamar Smith too.l

Enduro have you heard anything about the Reggie Wayne following Manning speculation?

Even more obscure fact ...

Growing up, Peyton wanted to be just like Bumpus. However, he soon realized that he'd never be able to rise to the tolerance levels exhibited by even a young Bump.

As a result, he chose to pursue something he had a shot at success with.

And now you know the rest of the story.

nothing but rumors. we dont want to tamper...lol.. Maybe we will hear that obscure fact come up again at a news conference?

I've heard that Peyton has a condo in the South Beach area and he and his wife really like living in Miami, so that would be a plus in getting him to come to the Phins....maybe he could bring Reggie Wayne as well.

oh, and dont forget the Wildcat 45-minute controlled game vs. Manning and the Colts where he beat us when only having the ball for 15 minutes. OUCH!

manning has a qb rating of 107.5 in games that are 80 degrees and up.

credit to kangphin for that stat!

That game never happened. You must have dreamt it.

I was at that game and sitting in the corner of the endzone that Peyton drove and won it in. When I saw how much time was left, I told everyone around me to just sit back and watch greatness, because it was inevitable. And he proved me right. This coming from a very optimistic person, but I knew that when it came down to it, Peyton would do and did do what ever it took to win that game.

We dominated every aspect and should have won that game many times over, too many missed opportunities and not enough game clinching plays. What a memory though, just glad I was there to witness it.
