Thought this was an interesting article. Finding a franchise quarterback seems to be based in little other than luck. For every Eli Manning or Carson Palmer, there are as many, if not more, Ryan Leafs (or is it Leaves) or Jermarcus Russells. Five weeks from now I may purchase that "Suck for Luck" T-shirt.

Yup ... that's why such a big deal has been made that the Dolphins haven't used a 1st round on a QB since Marino in 1983. You won't get one unless you kick the tires. Even true with all positions, but QB is such a boom or bust position.
