Interesting QB development

Someone tweeted Omar that they were on a flight from San Fran to Ft Lauderdale and Alex Smith was in front row.

I dunno that I want either of 'em compared to Moore.. but if it turns out that Philbin wanted Flynn (which I would fully support )and we don't sign him, IMO that would be a very bad thing all around.
 
A guy who's been in the league as long as he has and only has one better than mediocre season to show for it scares me...kinda like sticking with MMoore does... Watching SF last year, the difference in that team wasn't Alex Smith...that team was pretty solid all the way around. Smith's play wasn't really much better than in the past when he's played...

Guess this may mean that Philbin isn't in awe of Flynn (or that he told them he's going to Seattle already)...
 
I don't hate Alex Smith and I know that he has been unlucky with the amount of change he has seen at the OC position, but anyone that thinks he is a franchise QB is dreaming. I am not sure how this reflects on Flynn, but it does not seem like a ringing endorsement from his old OC :rolleyes2:.
 
A few hours before, there was already the rumour, that Alex Smith were on an airplane going to Miami. BUT: Alex Smith is looking for a new agent. Maybe he is only to his way to Drew Rosenhaus...

But: Is there realy anybody out there, who is thinking, that Alex Smith is a Franchise-Quarterback?!?
MAYBE he is a little bit better than Moore. Maybe!
But he is still miles away to be a Franchise-Quarterback!

Flynn is at least rolling the dices: Maybe he is a Franchise-Quarterback. Maybe he isn't good enough even to get the starting-job. But at least there is the chance, that he is the Franchise-QB. Which is Alex Smith by sure NOT!




If the Dolphins bringing in Smith to get Flynn for a cheper price: FINE! Smart!
 
The 49ers invited Manning to the dance, Smith is smart to start looking for possible suitors. What happens to the 49er's if Manning goes elsewhere and Smith follows suit? Sometimes you don't miss your old girlfriend until your new one gives you herpes.
