Second-guessers will have a field day this week in New England. When is the last time that happened? Has it ever happened to Bill Belichick?
In the midnight hour Belichick was grilled about going for a 2-point conversion in the middle of the third quarter, calling a timeout that appeared to negate a first down on fourth and 1 from the Colts' 7 (New England settled for a field goal), and electing to go for it on fourth and 15 from the Colts' 45 with 4:40 left. Belichick also had an unsuccessful challenge in the second half and burned his final timeout with 11:38 left to play. Mercy.
Mr. Hoodie has answers for all of the above, but it's difficult to remember a game that turned on so many debatable decisions by the vaunted New England coach. All of them blew up in his face. And that's unusual noted Boston Globe columnist Dan Shaughnessy.

That's because he doesn't have Brady to bail his *** out this season.A lot of his bonehead decisions haven't shown up in the past because Brady made stupid decisions look smart. He doesn't have that crutch anymore...........

He looks a lot like the Bellicheat from Cleveland doesn't he?

Even though its easy to bash him he is standing in mid field , responsbility to count 12 players on the field comes from upstairs from the booth and call on the one at the 7 yds line is the same no HC in the midfield can even see where the chains are and how far the offence has to move we see things on tv he is 50 yds away and looking at it sideways.

I accept as a HC is responsible for all coaching mistakes but both the calls came from the booth.so not sure i want to be too hard on him the guy in the booth needs a little yelling.

Cleveland he took over a 4-12 team and in 3 yrs they went 11-5 and lost in the playoff to the sb champions steelers. i do not get that could you explain.

I'd still rather have Belichick than Mangina as my teams HC. The mistakes made sunday night are far and few between Mangina makes them every week.
