Interesting reference in Saban's discussions with media

In Saban's round table with the media he made comment that the only movement as of recent involved the supplemental draft. He was asked if Miami was interested in signing any other players. He did mention they scanned the waiver wire every day, but he said there had been activity regarding the supplemental draft. Interesting enough, Jason Berryman, the de from Iowa St., and Washington, the former rb from North Carolina St., have mentioned Miami as teams interested in them. Just thought that was interesting (not necessarily saying it is relevant).

It was an innocent comment. Aside from the S.D. all has been quiet, that's all he was trying to say. Sounded to me like they aren't interested in signing anyone that is currently available...but they will keep an eye on the waiver wire to see who BECOMES available all the sudden. I'm thinking, a good backup RB, or possibly a good guard, good tight end, good linebacker...might be claimed off waivers.
