From CBS Sports. It is just Breech's picks, but I was not aware of San Francisco's weak schedule and how it applies to their overall performance.

If there's one advantage the 49ers have in this game, it's that they have one of the best defenses in the NFL. However, I'm not fully sure what to make of that, because one reason their defensive numbers are so good is because they've played some of the worst teams in the NFL. Yes, you have to play who's on your schedule, but beating up on bad teams doesn't tell me anything about you.

Through 12 weeks, the 49ers have had the easiest strength of schedule in the NFL. Their opponents have a combined winning percentage of just .397, which is crazy when you consider that no other NFL team is even at .420 (The Dolphins' strength of schedule through 12 weeks has been .496).

The 49ers have played four teams this year that currently have five wins or more and they're 2-2 in those games. I think what I'm trying to say here is that I'm going to need proof that the 49ers can beat good teams before I start picking them to beat good teams.

Damn, I’ve been saying this over and over since someone posted their “impressive” defensive stats yesterday.

I hope we show the NFL that their stats are a mirage built on beating up mediocre QBs. Exactly like a certain team that plays in NJ.

Would be such a great W if we can get this one, especially without Armstead. You know MMD would be over the moon.

I am just worried about our D who has been terrible on the road and our oline without Armstead.

Yeah I mean the one solid team they played in the chiefs blew them out.

This will be a game where we play Ingold and/or Smythe much more to protect Tua. That is THE most important task ahead.

I have a good feeling about our defense with Chubb/Phillips and X getting his groove back. Our young corners on the opposite side have had enough playing experience now and are healthy. Our D-line with Wilkins leading the way can neutralize the running game. We should get a couple of picks.

I'm not going to predict any INT's or anything like that but. I agree that the defense has played better as of late......they haven’t played against an offense with all the weapons that SF has tho.....it's going to take all 3 phases of the team to win this game on the road. But we can do it

SF has a great front 7 but secondary can be beat. Let Tyreek get behind them just like Ravens game! Back to the 2000 watch! Let’s get this Fins!

It is tough to make comparisons with any recent opponents. The D played very against Cleveland, who have a very good offensive line, Amari Cooper, Nick Chubb, and Kareem Hunt. Cleveland didn’t have the Kittle-like threat at TE.

They we’re great against the Bills, but they’re a different challenge than the Niners.

One key aspect that worries me is our tackling. The Niners live off of YAC. If we can’t get their guys on the ground, it could be a big problem. It will also be interesting to see how much they need to use Deebo in the backfield with Mitchell out and McCaffrey less than 100%. It could be helpful in limiting their passing game.

If McDaniel can create a game plan that helps our OT's and get them coached up not to allow constant pressure the 49ers wont beat us.
Also this would be a great week for our defense to play their best game of 2022. We are trending upward so maybe that can be a factor for us.

We shut down nearly every back we've played and have top 5 run defense. We shut down their run and make them one dimensional, regardless of our oline we can win on the road.

This 9ers team is so overrated. Deebo and Ayuik are tough physical players, but so is Kohou, Howard and Holland. Also, their power run game is gone with loss of Mitchell and trade of Wilson, plus Eagles poached Trey Sermon earlier this year. CM is a special back but we can shut him down vs the run, and let the big 3 pass rush pin their ears back in JP, Chubb, Ingram.

They have Tufanga who is legit threat at safety, and their front is intimidating to an extent, I think we can handle them and I think we can scheme any team now we play on offense.

Any given Sunday, but as many posters have pointed out, they haven't really beaten anyone, they have the weakest strength of schedule by a large margin and are a lucky few games over 500.

Jimmy Garropolo has saved their season, but he makes alot of poor decisions and is an okay passer. He is smart and generally doesn't turn it over, but he's not a specimen athlete and he can be pressured and brought down. I think 9-3 going into Prime Time SNF is a big reality. Gotta go out there and do it.

No Terron is going to affect us, how do we rise up to the occasion. December is the time to rise or fade. This looked like a tough slate of games earlier in the year, but it doesn't seem so intimidating these days.

Erratic, strong arm the following week with an overrated and awful defense in San Die...err I mean LA, Jill's in Buffalo rivalry game will be tough no question about it, Packers, NE and Jest, last 3 all very winnable.

There's legit potential going 5-1 to close out season, but what defense shows up on the road games, and how does no Terron affect the offense.

I believe if we get the defense playing decent, we can start an epic run.
