Well, in the first two games, which we lost, the other team scored first. We never led, and we obvously lost. In the Patriots game, we scored first and we won.

So a lot of us started saying that to win, we had to start winning, because our team didnt have enough confidence to come back and score after the other team does.

Well, guess who scored first last Sunday?

The Chargers. And we still came back and answered with a fieldgoal, followed by a touchdown.

So you can see this team is starting to change

Sparkling insight. ;)

But it really was huge to bounce back after the Chargers marched down the field and got points on the first drive. Good teams bend but don't break, and make adjustments on the fly.

here is another one for you. When we kick off to start the game and get the ball to start the second half, we win..:wacky:

getting ahead early is key for this team... i just wish when we got behind the first two games we didnt abandon the run so easily.

And we have continued our streak of keeping opponents scoreless in the 4th quarter.

4th quarter has been the achilles heel of this team for years, this stat is probably more important than any other.

I just love the fgact that we are talking about huge steps of improvement in so many difefrent areas. What a change from the last few years.

A true championship caliber team can win no matter what. Look at Indy, score 21 points in the last 4 minutes to win the game. Scoring first, receiving kick offs, or any other small misc. stat should not affect the team's win or loss record. We are just playing well on both sides of the ball, and controlling the clock. That is what matters

indy was just unbeliably lucky last week that they were playing against are old no. 3 qb

When we play better then the other team we win. lol

Solid football on both sides of the ball allows any team to be competitive. Keeping those penalties down I thought has made a huge difference. Really we've been pretty good in three of four games as well as the preseason. This says to me we're more for real then just playing two good games.
I'm not talking playoffs yet but there's no reason that we can't win any game we play, as long as we continue to play mistake free disciplined football. There may be a couple bumps in the road along the way but damn we look good.

Yeah, but guys. What Im talking about here is how we were psychologically messed up before and if we got behind, we just gave up.
We didnt do that this past week.
Im not saying that how we played on offense or on defense didnt matter.Im saying that this team has matured a lot
