We all know we have an awful 4th quarter defense. We've known that for a while now... What I didn't know was that we have the WORST in the league. We have allowed the most points in the 4th quarter. We are sitting at number 32 right down with the Rams, Chiefs, and Bills.

A bad defense is what is hendering this team. It's not the recievers like many of us though. We HAVE to draft defense in the upcoming draft, because it is clearly the single biggest issue this team has.

they showed that graphic before the 4th quarter of the bills phins game last week. at that time i remember the phins had about 120, bills 105, then cheifs and rams around 85-90.

then the bills torched us for 20 more points in the 4th last week, i dont remember how the rans and cheifs fared, but now we have a lead above 3rd WORST by 40-50.

i know we've had some ridiculous 4th quarters, but the numbers are astounding

Yea it is pathetic, the D gives up in the 4th quater we dont finish games and on top of that our O gets conservative and we let teams catch up in the 4th quater, that's why we r 5-6 and there's games we almost lost like the one vs the panthers. This D need a brand new heart. a player that impires all to not give up. Ray Lewis or Meriman type.

I believe we had 134 and the Bills has 112. It's absolutely ridiculous for a defense to give up so many points in the 4th quarter of games. And with a young QB? It's a sure fired plan for failure, that's for sure.

It's mystifying. Not just the defense either - nobody can stop our offense running the ball until we really need to run the ball (i.e with a lead in the final quarter). Maybe our players are just running out of gas late in the game but it shouldn't really be a problem - we must rotate our line-ups more than any other team in the league

We're basically the opposite of a clutch team. When the game is on the line, we fail 90% of the time. Last year, we converted 90% of the time. We have had much stiffer competition this year, and for the most part, have done fairly well. I suspect this problem will get better the more experiance our young players get, and the younger our team gets. Right now, on defense we are fairly old.

Y'know, this all out worship of Henne is really starting to piss me off!! So the fact that we were tied with Buffalo with 6 minutes left in the game, then Henne threw 3 interceptions to the other team (from our 36, 43, and 34 yd. lines, mind you) had nothing to do with it???? It is ridiculous that our defense let down our poor young QB??? If that was Pat White that did that, you all would be wanting to string him up, but with Henne you want to blame it on a defense that held them to 14 points for almost the whole game!!!!????. You people are absolutely blind!!
