haha just our luck... i remember that KC game and tynes hit a couple 50 yarders like nothing... crazy
 
This was a bad weekend for kickers. All my favorite teams missed big FG's. The Fins, Giants, & Steelers...
 
Somebody pointed this out a few weeks ago. It is odd how NO ONE misses a FG v. Phins.

LOL I was on nfl.com and saw that not a single FG has been missed.

Here are the exact stats:






20-29: 6/6
30-39: 6/6
40-49: 4/4
50+: 3/3
 
that is crazy.

but trust me, the bills kicker will find a way to miss one sunday.. i just feel it.
 
If I remember correctly, there were no FGs missed against us last year either.

Edit:Never mind, I checked last year our opponents went 20/28 in FGs according to NFL.com.
 
That's actually one of the stats I look at annually. I was hoping a newcomer enthusiastic defensive minded coach coming out of college with a blitz mentality would find a way to block some FGs. That used to be almost a given in the glory years with Curtis Johnson and Lloyd Mumphord double teaming one side and the flank blocker forced to pick one or the other. Besides a Doug Betters or Shane Burton we haven't found anyone with kick blocking skill or instincts in decades. Maybe I'm forgetting one or two guys but no one who consistently worried the opposition.

I was going to post a thread about this when someone finally did. Last miss was vs. Cleveland last year, week 16.
 
But there was a missed XP, so we have that going for us, which is nice.
 
Punters, besides Lechler, seem to have had good games too.
