Did you all know that Daunte is one of the top 5 rated passers of all time and also had the 4th best season rating wise ever?

CAREER PASSER RATING
1. Steve Young (1985-99) - 96.8
2. Kurt Warner (1999-05) - 94.1
3. Peyton Manning (1998-05) - 93.5
4. Joe Montana (1979-94) - 92.3
5. Daunte Culpepper (1999-05) - 91.5
SINGLE-SEASON PASSER RATING
1. Peyton Manning, Ind. (2004) - 121.1
2. Steve Young, S.F. (1994) - 112.8
3. Joe Montana, S.F. (1989) - 112.4
4. Daunte Culpepper, Minn. (2004) - 110.9
5. Milt Plum, Cleve. (1960) - 110.4

This is a suprising list, and a bit misleading IMO. For instance Kurt Warner is #2 because of two good seasons. But Daunte is differnt because he has done it consistantly for 7 seasons (with the exception of last year.) Looking at the other guys you see Monatana, Young, and Manning so this is a pretty legit list.

I just hope he gets better with two bad **s running backs a top 5 TE and two good recievers.

I love McMike probably just as much as anyone on this board. But to say he is a top 5 tight end is a stretch.

Anotonio Gates, Tony Gonzalez, Todd Heap, Jason Witten, Alge Crumpler can all say they are better to this point.

Ben Watts, L.J Smith, Marcus Pollard, Jermain Wiggins, Bubba Franks, and maybe even Jeremy Stevens can make an argument.

I think McMike is a top 7 TE in the league!:D

Dont forget Shockey and who knows about Winslow.

I meant to say Ben Watson. He's the Patriots Tight End. He lit us up in the first meeting.

My bad on Shockey totally disregaurded him probably because I hate his guts. Kellin Winslow has played just one football game and I doubt he ever turns out productive. That bike crash may have ruined his career.

Daunte has only had 3 seasons above 90 QB Rtg. He has not been consistently good over 7 seasons, besides he has only actually played in 5.5 seasons.

OK I know he was hurt most of last season so 6 years. But hes had a top 3 rating 3 of those years. What were they the other years, 85+?
