Interesting though on White...and Sparano

So Sparano keeps mentioning that White is only a QB and thats what they want him as and nothing more.
Why did they draft a QB if Henne is the future?
and its clearly for the WC but they haven't even thrown the ball with him except for week 1.
So what is exactly going on here?
You drafted a QB in round 2, to be a QB while u have a "franchise QB already" on the roster and that NEW QB is in for 4 snaps a game and he doesn't even throw the ball but yet they RUN the ball with him.

What kind of a QB is that if he runs more than passes?

Something is a bit weird here...are they waiting for week 16 to catch someone off guard and run him as a WR ? lmao wtf is the piont of him as a QB if he does nothing but do a QB option run for 2 yards and hasn't even passed outta the WC but week 1?

Coming into the draft White was saying that he wanted to be a QB, and not a WR or specialty back. In the Senior Bowl, he also was reluctant to work out as anything other than a QB. That is what he wants to be. I don't think he would have signed if they told him he wasn't going to be a QB. So...they are playing the game with him...until he realizes that it just isn't meant to be and the coaches have the "sit down" with him and lay down the law. I think the coaches are just waiting for the right time...

Its OBVIOUS...because he is a rookie and look at how they handled Henne in his rookie season. They obvious like to redshirt the QBs in their rookie season, so to speak.

Every team in the league is laughing hard as **** at BP and Co. for taking Pat White in the 2nd round.

Pat White ****ing blows.

Pat White was taken for the simple reason of being a homerun hitter. A playmaker out of the wildcat. A guy who could give us that run/throw option we were looking for to make the difference in close games. A guy that could put us over the top. Thats all. But, he isnt.

Just look at the first game. They tried to let him hit a homerun right off the bat. Problem is he cant get it within 10 yards of an open receiver from that distance. Hell, he cant get it close on 10 yard throws.

So to tell me that wasnt the plan is utter bs that you can sell somewhere else.

For the people that say why take him for 5 plays a game, as I said all along going into the draft.......well if he makes a huge play on either one or two of those plays, then he is well worth the value of a 2nd rounder. One or two big plays a game can translate into several points. Several points is usually the difference in these NFL games. So that was the theory. And hell, I bought that **** too when we took him. I said hey if BP thinks he can make plays for us, Im in.

But, jesus........Pat White blows. He cant make plays. He's terrible.

The idea that he is some kind of potential QB is laughable. The guy cant even take a dropback from center yet. Give me a ****ing break. Plus, we have Henne. There is no way the idea of him ever being a starting QB was in mind when they selected this pile of ****.

Pat White is a total BUST and they know it at this point. He cant do what they invisioned him doing for our team.

A playmaker in the wildcat is not the same as developing as a QB, so Im not ready to listen to the he is a rookie and needs time to develope argument. Thats apples and oranges. If he were an actual QB, that would fly.

When a guy is drafted to do what they wanted him to be able to do, he either can or he cant. Its not a matter of developing into it. His speed is not effective in the NFL.

BP and CO. totally wiffed on this one. Thats all. Now they are trying to cover it with some bs story that I cant believe some of you buy.
