I was at another football website that had a forum discusing who the top 10 worst teams would be next year and evey other teams fans seemed to think that we were going to be in that top 10. I herd everything from "They are going nowhere" to "Things are a mess in Miami thanks to Nick Saban". As Dolphins fans i want to know what you think we are capable of next year. Personally i don't think we are that far off.
 
I think Saban made a mess of this team and it is going to take awhile to get out of this hole we are in on offense. I think Cam is the man to do it though! We probably finish .500 or slightly above next year not sure if that makes us the top ten worst though there are some pretty bad teams out there.
 
i bet they said the same thing of new orleans and the jets
 
Every year there is this specualtion and every year the speculation is wrong. Last year it was specualted we would be at least making the playoffs, the jets being the last in the division, N. Orleans not suppost to be the powerhouse the were, Pitt going back to the superbowl,...ect and all the speculation was the complete opposite....Speculation is only as accurate as trying to take a dump off a 50 story building and aiming for a moving cab in NYC
 
I think we can win the super bowl 42-0, we just need to catch some breaks.
 
How exactly did Saban make a mess of the team?? I am angry that he left the team when he was far from completeing the job, but I don't see how he made a mess of the team.

He didnt make a mess of the team...Even though hes a d****bag for leaving like he did, the team is still better off then in the past.

It is much better to be viewed this way then be the sexy Super Bowl pick. In 2005, we were picked to go nowhere, and when we were able to go 9-7 it made the season a lot more fun. I would rather be picked to be very bad and do good, then be picked to be very good and dissapoint.

With that said, I think we are an 8-8 team in 2007. We are not that bad.
 
the nfl is different that how it use to be, in recent years some teams that have had inside the top 5 picks in the draft become playoff teams in one year....anything is possible and i like that we will now be hanging under the radar and not get all the attention of being a super bowl contender in the preseason, you prove your worth during the season not the offseason so itll be exciting to see what the 07-08 dolphins bring to the table. this team wants to be good and be good sooner rather than later, and hopefully the intensity of some our vets will help this team make it to the playoffs next season

Jimmy Johnson (who bashes Saban ever chance he gets) said with our defense we are way better than a 6-10 team. He said the coaching was very suspect

exactly.... I could honestly care less. We got all the media attention and were supposed to be Super Bowl contenders last year and we flopped. I'd rather have that under dog thing going for us going into the season.

I don't think he made a mess of the team but I feel he left the team in the same mess as when he found it. There are as many or nearly as many questions as when he first took the job. The team still needs a direction so its obvious that Saban didn't give it any. It would have been nice if he had of at least solved the QB question but its obvious he ddidn't since even Cam says the starting QB spot is still up for grabs.
 
I never pay attention to that stuff. Like other people said, last year at this time they were talking about the Jets and Saints being terrible in 2006 and look what happened. Nobody knows what will happen. Its all a guessing game and most of the time their wrong.

Of course he did, Saban was using the defense J.J. put in place :lol:
