Interview with Tua's trainer

I will 100% draft him at the end of my fantasy drafts. Has all the makings of a guy that explodes the first couple of weeks, then there's a rush to the waiver wire to grab him, you can ride him to your playoffs with minimal investment

Found the direct insight and seen ability By his trainer more of interest to me.

reaction of 60% health and jumping into the NFL
The intensity level of discipline and work ethic in getting better, off the charts
Trainer saying he is now 100% and in the best condition he's ever been in his life
Hip right side (injured) calculated stronger than healthy side.
Him training and running roots with the WR's and the RB's as well.
Saying Tua is much stronger and his accuracy was what impressive him the most
Said Bouden was in super shape also. And impressed with his achievement last year with little to no WR experience.
Said Tua was very humble and said one day at the practice Tua set up with WR's that while in the middle of a continuous discussion with him, Tua continued his play, while still looking and talking with the Trainer, dropping back and hitting his WR with a bullseye....without a clitch from the conversation....

Just to name a few. Oh ya trainer saying he' was surprised at all the negativity Tua was getting from our own Dolphin Fan base.
Good stuff.

A few more nuggets Nick included…

  • Tua went from 216, 16% body fat to 215-216, 10% body fat which is ideal.
  • Talked about how great of an athlete Tua is. Wasn’t able to see that last year with hip around 60%. Tua can run, jump, cut, wiggle, shake, strong, particularly his lower body. Can deadlift 400 lbs. Tua showed up on days he was training with WRs and RBs to do workouts with them and was able to beat some RBs pulling weighted sleds. Tua might have a few extra pounds than some of the RBs but a win is a win.
  • Noticed during the 4 months working with Tua his demeanor changed. He has taken command that it is his team now. It was Tua that got the WRs together and the OL on several occasions, Nick just provided the field to use. Tua on the board drawing up plays and letting everyone know where they need to go, etc.
  • Raves about Tua being like no one he ever met. Humility and hard work. Not only did he do the hard work he fell in love with it. Called him a sicko as a lot of players do not like doing all the work he put in.
  • Tua did not work out that much at Alabama. Some weights, but mostly just QB stuff.
  • Tua’s arm is plenty strong enough. Throws as hard as he needs to. Receivers prefer an accurate catchable football as opposed to a 90mph fastball. Can throw 60 yards down the field If he needs to. Has more zip on the ball.
  • Nick worked with Bowden and he is one of the best athletes he has been around and learns quickly. Also worked with Kindley for 5 weeks. Been working with Jordan Scarlett since the 8th grade.
  • Doesn’t think the Dolphins fan base deserves Tua, Dolphins are Nicks favorite team, as they seem to be the ones spewing the most negativity toward Tua. Nick is on the Dolphins facebook site and thinks the two guys running it don’t act like Dolphin fans. Tua is not a social media person, but is probably aware.
  • Predicts good things coming for the Dolphins.

Excellent show, Reason knocks it out of the park again.......

Recommend most in here who really give a damn about whats up with the Dolphins should watch Reason and "Phinside the NFL". He brings a hell of a lot of hard work research and study to his show.

Most informative and thought provoking source around, and a must watch for the serious Dolphin fans.

But warning !
You may end up learning something and at a minimum putting real issues on the table for thought .

Coming next or soon, evaluation, RB, Gerrid Doaks

Reason on RB Gerrid Doaks
