Interview with Vontae Davis and Will Allen today.

Will Allen is the perfect guy for Vontae to learn from. Good to hear Will is completely open to the kid, even though they are going for the same job. If Vontae absorbs Will's mentality and combines it with his own physical abilities, watch out.

Sean Smith as well, with his frame he could even be the better of the two.

yeah i think the more the attention is on vontae..the easier it will be for sean smith to emerge..pressure helps vontae live up to his first rd value

I project that we are going to have a very physical backfield especially at the CB position. When those guys get kind of mouthy at that position it usually means they are wanting to mix it up with tackling and interceptions. Madison was that way etc. We know Will Allen like to tackle and the word on the rookies is that they play physical too. Not sure about Eric Green and the new safty but Bell lays a hit on. I am most interested to see how those rookie WR work out that were taken high.

Gotta be better than Jason Allen...after watching the replay of NE at Miami and him getting abused...man im glad we drafted 2 corners.

I'm sure most of us have now given up on Allen, but man, he was going against Moss... 1 on 1 for most of the time if I remember correctly.

There's not 1 person in the league that could guard Moss 1 on 1.

I disagree.

Battle of the Titans!

I wondered what Nnamdi meant. According to the Raiders web site it means "Jesus Lives".

Whatever his name is, the dude can cover.

Moss didn't have a bad game against Oakland last year (5 rec. /67 yds. /2 TD /20 yd. longest). 277 yards rushing by NE, they didn't have to lean on the passing game much. Nnamdi got called for defensive holding several times during the game. Randy's 20 yard TD was against Baker.

The Oakland player with the most tackles and a sack and the only Oakland INT (on a pass to Watson) that day? Gibril Wilson...:d-day:

(Although if your safety is getting the most tackles your defense may have a problem....)
