I was listening to Lebatard and he brought up a great point. If this team has so much talent as Ross said over and over on his interview, do you know any team in the NFL that would trade their entire roster with the Dolphins? Not just today, to win next sunday, I´m asking about their roster moving forward.

If Ireland is doing his job correctly our roster would show some promise but what do we have in our hands?
A top-5 receiver that can´t catch anything, a top back that can´t run between the tackles, the best CB duo that can´t cover anybody, an excellent front 7 that can´t pressure the QB. Is it everything Sparano´s fault?

Am I missing something?

This team does have talent IF they where coached, motivated and played like they cared but they don't.

I'd be surprised if LSU would trade their entire roster for the Dolphins...

The coaching has been terrible, but the players are clearly not as good as we had hoped.

I'm all for getting Sporano AND Ireland out of here. Throw Dabboll in there too. Clean house.

It would be nice to see this team bounce back though. Start playing with some swagger. Put it all out there. Nothing to lose.

Only way to is to send Ross a message that we as fans are not satisfied with this product is
to boycott games(even though that seems to be happening)

Doesn't mean we can't watch our team on tv but show the big guy
things have to change

Problem with that theory is that by not attending the game it increases the chances of a blackout.

Well, I think we do have talent on our team...I just dont think its being used right and I think the team has pretty much given up.

cameron wake, davone bess, dan carpenter, brian hartline, kendall langford, mike pouncey, jake long, vontae davis, daniel thomas (drafts and undrafted FA, CFL), karlos dansby, randy starks, brandon marshall, reggie bush, anthony fasano, tony mcdaniel (trades and FA) are some pieces that could start (or at least play) for most of the other 31 teams in the league. (some other possibles eventually may be: charles clay, clyde gates, sean smith, nolan carroll, reshad jones, chris clemons, jimmy wilson, koa misi, kevin burnett). that's 24 guys just from this regime. it doesn't include paul soliai or anyone already here when they arrived (carey), or incognito and any other player of his caliber or less (garner, columbo, olshansky). overall a group with enough talent that they should be playing MUCH better.

Ierland Blows. its easy to see that. why can't you homers see that?

I was watching the NFL network yesterday and they were counting down the top worst teams in NFL history and they brought up Jimmy Johnson's cowboys and how he immedietly came in and traded the best cowboy player, Herschel Walker, to the Vikings for a bunch of draft picks...the fan base almost hung Jimmy thinking he was crazy for doing such a move, but it paid off huge dividends when he went on to draft Aikman, Irvin and Emmit.

My thinking is, what if a new coach or GM comes in and decides to trade Jake Long or Brandon Marshall for a bunch of picks??? Considering we are in position to draft luck, would you be opposed???

personally i think i could do a better job than ireland...don't like it i don't care

We have holes ALL OVER the roster... Including most of the same ones when he took over four years ago... This franchise has been on a treadmill since he took the reigns.

there's just no coaching and no motivation ... you gotta have desire and faith in your team if you want to give it your all...

I think the whole atmosphere around the team is really bad, it started when rumors about Ross failing to get Jim Harbaugh in and Sparano out ... then they kinda put that story aside when we signed one of the flashiest players in the NFL, Reggie Bush. Don't get me wrong I don't think he's anything great, but he brings the spotlight and he's one of the best player at something in the NFL : Marketing

The dolphins talked the talk in the offseason: the rejuvenation of Reggie Bush, the best cornerback tandem, Henne stepping it up, Daboll and his creative offence, Cameron Wake in his second full season, a promising rookie class.

When the season started and it all fell apart, NO ONE, absolutely nobody, was able to right that ship and get it going. And I think it's gotta lot to do with sparano/henne ... don't get me wrong, all of those dolphins players play ****ty football (for the most part) , but the two guys who can rally their team are definitely the Quarterback and the Head coach.

Both of our guys have seen their confidence and their ability shaken over the years and now that we need that Leadership, they just can't provide any.

So when you say we have players that are not as talented as advertised, i think you are wrong. There are very good players on this roster and they could be very competitive. They only lack leadership and something to believe in.

Something only a new head coach and/or a new quarterback will provide, given that they are talented and natural leaders
