This guy hasn't been able to land anyone that we have targeted....Jim Harbaugh, Jeff Fisher...If he
blows this (Peyton Manning) he should be giving his walking papers IMMEDIATELY!!!!

I really don't feel he is the problem ATM. It's way to early to blame anyone we have till sunday night or early monday. Peyton won't sign with Denver.

Landed Dansby, and did what was necessary to bring in Marshall (the #1 WR we'd all been coveting for years). And I wouldn't call losing Fisher "blowing it", I'm happy with Philbin. If you were Jeff Ireland, would you want to bring in a head coach that required having all the power and made your position basically obsolete? Some of you guys freak out too much. Wait til he "blows it" before freaking out.
 
neither Fisher or Harbaugh were coming here in the first place. Cant blame Ireland for that

Not quite....Harbaugh wasn't going to leave CA, plus that was Ross's deal and not Irelands. Jeff Fisher simply was using us to get the best deal possible from the Rams. Plus, Ross said no to some of Fisher's power demands....and Thank God he did. Ross should be getting thanked for us not getting Fisher! We are way better off with Philbin and company that we are with Fisher.
 
Yeah let's fire the guy a month before the NFL draft. Some other guy will just be able to come in and take over without missing a beat. Ireland will be so kind as to leave his draft notes and scouting information for his successor too.
 
Yeah, Ireland's responsible for global warming too. Wait! You say there is no global warming? Well, there was no shot at getting Harbaugh period and when it came to Fisher, Ross did the right thing entrusting Ireland instead of ceding control to someone who delivered 6 out of 17 winning seasons showing no justification for being given that type of decision-making. And whaddya know? Fisher's first 2 decisions were to hire one of the worst OCs and a DC he didn't stop to wonder why NO was so anxiousl to see leave.

edit: I'm digging this 'no thanks" button already and junc has been no where in sight yet!
