The old adage "sometimes the best moves are the ones you don't make" certainly applies here.

Great.

LOL, people should really be thankful for thr Pat White pick now!!

Que the "WTF ireland Vick plus White could be an Awesome Training camp battle.. for the DogFight package.. oops i mean WildCat" thread

There was no way we were going to carry 4 Qbs anyway.
No surprise here....although......

The conspiricy theorist in me is now thinking, what if Bill wanted to give him a workout and Ross shot him down????

thank god dont want vick, and he isnt that good and people need to really get that in their heads.

Remember..This is Ireland. The same guy that said we'd be picking a "Cornerstone of our Defense"........Which as of now, Jake Long hasn't been.

He did serve his time but he's still low life scum who crossed the line from stupidity to twisted animal killer. I'm sure Ireland can see past the pathetic ESPN sponsored MV image restoration project.

I hope we don't sign him as it would be a circus and a distraction that the team does not need.

Somebody will though and I find it difficult to argue against the fact that he has served his time and warrants the opportunity to rebuild his life despite the despicable nature of his crime.

The investment in the Pat White 2nd round pick nulifies any interest in Vick this year.
It would be interesting to see if Ireland and Company would bite if he had been avaible last year. We will never know of course.
I have a question though in regards to Vick and the roster. If a team picks up Vick and he is not allowed to play until week 6 but can practice with them every week how does he count against the 53 man roster. Can he be stashed on some PUP squad for example until week 6?

Good. Vick would be a sick part time wildcat QB.

Well if the Patriots pick him up, that means that Tom Brady won't be taking all of the snaps. I'd be surprised - but stranger things have happened.
I expect Vick to land in Jacksonville or Seattle.
